Dear Amrita, I am hounding you in my heart. It’s hard to endure the fires of that pain. I agree with Robin and Nan. We will be here rooting for you. It’s my experience that the poems will come-they are waiting til you can feel more ease 💗
Dear Amrita, My message is unfortunately delayed because I to have been dealing with my own issues with back pain and recently was hospitalized with a TIA. I am so sorry to learn you are experiencing debilitating nerve pain. I wish you peace and hope that your treatment brings relief and you are able to resume writing poetry. I will continue to hold you in my heart with blessings for a meaningful recovery. Much Love, Zubin
Thank you Zubin! I'm so sorry for your health problems! By the way, in the future, could you please type letters to me (if and when you are up to it). I had a very difficult time trying to decipher your handwriting!!
I'm so sorry you're going through this. Your words make it easy to imagine how relentless this pain has been.
Reading your note reminded me that perhaps pain never truly leaves any of us—it only wears different faces from one life to another. But some days, like the ones you're facing now, it asks far too much.
I hope the next treatment brings real relief and, with it, the quiet return of your poems.
Wishing you strength, comfort, and gentler days ahead.
This is terrible Amrita. thank you for letting us know so we can hold you in our hearts. May you receive relief so that your words will find their place again. There are many who will hold hope for you until you can find it again yourself.
I only recently met you, but I feel sympathy for the spinal pain. I have had it, too. I had radio ablation, which does work. Lots of waiting between MD meetings.
I am now considering ablation. Would you email me at amritaskyepoetry at gmail dot com so we can discuss your experience, Mare? I would be deeply grateful.
Oh, Amrita, I'm sorry you've been suffering. Thank you for letting me know. Adding you to my get well and pain-free list. Sending good mojo out to the universe and to you. xo

Take care of yourself first Amrita. Poetry will follow. Rest and get the medical care you need. We’ll be here rooting for you. 🥰
So sorry to hear this, dear Amrita. I hope you find relief from your pain soon. Holding you in my heart. Jenny
Dear Amrita,
