A lovely mantra - one I will attempt to emulate.
The poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer says 4 things to herself before she writes every day:
*I will write.
*Writing doesn't have to be good, but it has to be true. What is the next true thing?
*I cannot know the ending when I start. Put yourself in service to the poem. If you think
you know the ending, write right past it.
*I will share it!
That list is printed and on my desk. I look at it every day and adhere to it.
