Pressing concerns
burgeoning war,
daffodils—six weeks
This year, just three
20 degrees above average
the burning months
close in worries,
mortared block weight
Up at 4:30AM EDT in North Carolina after tossing and turning, reading, warm milk, no sleep, worries, distress, anger and I read your poem. I am in good company. Mr. Rogers said "Look for the helpers." I think, "Look for my allies". Grateful.
You sure have night time experiences that I and I know many others share. Praise be for giving it words, no matter the struggle to do so!
