Dear honored readers: here are poems (most freshly edited) that I posted on Wordpress before moving to Substack year and a half ago, and early after I began writing a poem a day on 5/4/2022.
Our now wonderful dog is simply the best at giving affection. I forgive her for finding my husband her favorite. (He doesn't stuff the pills down her gullet, or train her.)
May you find comfort in being "senseless" for a while. Your entire being is healing. But while it is healing, it is storing insights and visions to write into later on.

Oh Lordy, Nan, I'm no wimp, either. I had endometriosis as a young person. I know pain. I'm decent at bearing pain. This has been very hard.
