The Deep Cut
When life cuts deep
not smooth
but a serrated slice
to the bone
Breathe in
breathe deep
it’s for you
feel it all
Can you?
Can you sit
on the hot seat?
That’s the work
As much as you would
like it to be different
this,
this is how it is
Well observed and stated!
I like this a lot. Feels true to experience - mine and the author's,
