Right Now

We must all step back, right now
or the frayed rope bridge will give way
Re-braid with listening, with care

Our world is unraveling at warp speed
need an MLK, a Gandhi to rise
We must all step back, right now

Continent-sized glaciers near breaking apart
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is growing
and the frayed rope bridge will give way

When we reach 14 million in protests
a wave gathering, curls and breaks
Re-braid with listening, with care
