Structured poetry, especially with a visual element, is always so delightful to me. The hourglass adds such a powerful image to this already powerful poem!
Thanks, Socks. Although I like the form, I'm not happy with this poem because it's wholly conceptual--nothing embodied about it. Then again, it's a political statement, so I guess it stands as that! Forms are fun to try--they push me, which I think is good.
