Fumbling for my flashlight
stumbled on Jazz pacing,
all the noises
Lights rotating outside
power trucks
Branch, hot wire down
shut off
the neighborhood
Low din as generators
come on
Christmas
no lights on the tree
only candles, lovely candles
and quiet
