Fireflies, lantern fish,
comb jellies and glow worms
reveal the truth
We are the very light we seek
Not seeing this,
striving to put ourselves
in the path of its beam,
our highest good

Like matches mumbling in a dark closet, "We need to get some light in here..."
Oh, this poem... every word, every line, but especially the final stanza.... the last two lines just shine with such force. Wow!
