Amrita - loved this and as I did not know Mueller's poem, I looked it up and am delighted to be able to explain to friends who doubt the clarity of my vision that there truly are sheep in bales of hay scattered on the far field. And did that statue really move? Of course it did, as the sun set, her wings sprouted.
cataract surgery did not go well for me - I too still find it hard to regain my equanimity but am finding a gradual acceptance of how it is. Often think of Mueller's poem Monet Refuses the Operation :)
I decided not to get the upgraded ones, but go with the traditional and wear glasses, because I've heard people have had problems with the upgraded ones. I'm so sorry!

just an upgraded lens but not sure why it didn't work as advertised :(
