How the day turned on a refrigerator
How the day turned on a refrigerator
Email, four poems accepted
My elephant painting
looks like a pachyderm—
the day turns sunny
even though its raining
Opened the fridge
it’s high-tech self
promptly informs
inside, 58 degrees
Uh oh
Empty fridge and freezer
evening run to get ice
too much food for our cooler
begging neighbors
for space
Wake up, all’s good
it’s at 37 degrees
Do we call the fix-it guy
or not?

Happy Easter, Amrita! Big gratitude for magic!
hurry on all the acceptance. i guess the fridge had to do a re-set, accepting it's heated state and then moving back to its normal.
