What an image! And yes, your words will return because you are a writer and lover of words. First, I hope your pain continues to lessen 🙏

Bless you, Holly. And they are returning. Thank God.

And I pray the pain grows less for you and the feathered friends sing their gratitude that this is so.

May the words continue to find their way through the pain and come home to you Amrita.

Amrita, sometimes the words don't disappear. They simply wait until the pain finishes speaking.

Thank you for sharing this. I hope the birds find the path back for your words—and for you.

Sending warm wishes from India.

A beautiful prayer of supplication. It takes a lot of bandwidth to cope with pain. As pain dials down may the words rise up.

Once someone in a writing group had to leave to do another writing thing on NPR or something. She asked us all to fork over some words and we all did. I'll give you copasetic and propinquity and tethered and Rockingham Street. I can share til your muse hears last call & leaves whatever bar or fetching being she's smitten with. Take smitten too. And take fetching. Gentle Hugs.
