shoved them down
barred the door
decades ago
stalked away
at risk, survival
today the door,
that soft sea blue
a memory marker
latch broken
open
wrestle the bricks
a gentle shove
reveals
what calls to heal
I love doorway photos. I had some beautiful ones - taken in 2006 in a village beyond the sixth ring road in Beijing. Sadly lost through some data corruption. Curses. Nice piece!
