Again Here the page, again And the hunger. What is that? Some days, restless with urge or drive other days, formidable horse and hurdle the rare day, beckoning Turning toward each one as it is, the passage Not special or fancy, more sweat and spadework
Thanks! It's my life! I've added in something new, though--taking a watercolor/drawing challenge this month, drawing to a prompt each day. So fun, very challenging, and I have to face the childhood voices of "not good enough." A lot of my painting are not good enough to satisfy me, but since this was my childhood passion that got smothered, I'm determined to keep working at it now. I need color in addition to black text on white paper. That's been missing ever since we closed the weaving studio in 1989.
Excellent! I'm delighted to hear about your February art challenge. I'm doing small daily watercolors (abstracts, really, just washes of color on paper) on plain postcards, then affixing excerpts of my poems and sending them to a list of folks I was given... whom I don't know. Talk about playing with words and color and letting it go!
...and all the love that pervades your life and your words, your gifts to us.
How kind!
"...sweat and spadework," indeed! Thanks, Amrita, for all of yours that results in these daily offerings!

Word work, weed work...
Exactly. Sending love to you both!
