Didi, this one really reached me. "Hurt and joy, often both at once" is exactly how life feels. You have captured the whole weight of surviving this planet in just those four simple words: remain, dwell, endure, steadfast. Sending you much love. ❤️

I believe I have (or can make in about 5 minutes) PDF copies of both my poetry collections that are out for you. I can also do that for Bird Rising, so you could be a beta reader, although I can no longer make changes to the manuscript. Does this interest you? I think shipping to India is simply too expensive for me. Your Didi

Didi, I’d truly love to read them, especially Bird Rising. But my doctor has restricted my social media and screen time for now, so I’m having to protect my eyes and can’t read properly these days. If you’re still comfortable sending the PDFs, I’d be very happy to read them when my eyes allow. ❤️

and I could make the text noticeably bigger. Would that help?

Didi, you’re so thoughtful. My doctor has asked me to give my eyes proper rest, and I’ve recently had laser treatment to help control my glaucoma. So even with larger text, I have to keep my reading and screen time very limited for now. I’m really touched that you’re trying to make it easier for me. ❤️

Take very good care of those eyes, please. At some point in the future, I will send you Bird Rising only. Maybe you could let me know when it might be possible for you to read a poem a day?

Didi, I honestly don’t know yet when my eyes will allow me to read a poem a day. I’d rather wait until my doctor says my eyes can handle it, but I’d love to read Bird Rising when I’m able. ❤️
